Vacation Bible School

Dinner: 6:00 - 6:30pm
VBS: 6:30 – 8:30pm
Be sure to stop
by the Galactic Blast table in the narthex and speak to Christy Burger about pre-registering your cadets and volunteering
to share your gifts during the week of VBS. Small groups may also sign up to provide dinners for the week
of VBS.
VBS Donations Needed
Vacation Bible School needs your trash! Pleas save
your paper towel tubes and CLEAR plastic 2 liter bottles for our cosmic crafts department. A VBS Donations
Tub is located on the Galactic Blast table in the narthex where your donations may be dropped off.
If your would
like to make a donation to help provide a child’s snack during VBS, please place donations in the offering plate and
indicate on your check or envelope that money is designated for “VBS Snacks.” A $3 donation
provides one child with snacks for the week. Our goal is to raise $210 which will provide snacks for 70
children.
VBS Volunteers Meeting
If you are interested in helping with Vacation Bible School, please plan to attend our volunteers meeting.
Lunch will be provided. Sign up in the narthex if you will be attending. Not
sure where your can best serve? Never helped with VBS? Attend this meeting, and Christy
Burger guarantees that your gifts will be utilized to create a fantastic cosmic adventure for the children in our church and
the surrounding community. All ages and experience levels are welcome…including youth helpers!

We are currently recruiting
teams of teachers for PEAKS to start in the fall. We'd like to provide the children with more consistency and feel like
having the same teachers will do just that. We need 6 teachers for the 2nd Sunday of each month and 6 teachers for the 4th
Sunday of each month. Your commitment is one hour, one Sunday a month. All of the preparation will be done for you -
you just have to show up to teach! Please look at the 2010-2011 calendar that is included in the bulletin) so you can get
a better idea if this is something you'd like to be a part of. If it is, please take a minute to fill out the slip of
paper and drop it in the offering plate. Thank you for carefully considering your part in this vital ministry!
